About Us
At Adirondack Mountain Animal Rescue it is our mission to take in unwanted small house pets and help to provide them with forever homes. We are a non profit organization based in the heart of the Adirondacks where pets being let loose is a big problem. Our rehoming fee for our animals is $30 which helps to cover costs of food, litter, or meds.
Animals we can take in:
Hamsters and guinea pigs
Ferrets or chinchillas
Pet birds, (Finches, Parakeet, cockatiel, etc)
Cats and kittens
Dogs and puppies
Pet fish or reptiles
Animals we don't take in:
Wild birds (Owls, hawks, vultures, etc)
Raccoons
Baby deer or other wildlife
Geese, chickens, or other farm animals
Lake or river fish
